How does it work? of Anti-inflammatories, non-steroidal
When a part of your body is damaged due to a sprain or strain, or because of an inflammatory disease such as arthritis, the body tissues release chemicals called prostaglandins, which travel rapidly to the injured area.
Prostaglandins cause the tissue around the injury to swell up and become inflamed, which causes you to feel pain.NSAIDS relieve pain from an injury by preventing the production of prostaglandins, therefore stopping further swelling and relieving pain.
