Symptoms of Astigmatism

Many people have a small degree of astigmatism that doesn’t cause any problems.  More severe astigmatism may cause the following symptoms:

  • blurring and distortion of near or far-away objects,
  • headaches when trying to focus,
  • sensitivity to light, and
  • tired and dry eyes.
