Prevention of Bites, snake
- If you are walking along heathland, try to tread heavily to warn away snakes.
- Carry a torch at night.
- Never walk barefoot.
- Never tease, aggravate or touch a snake, even with a stick.
- Do not touch a snake that looks dead.
