Prevention of Boils

If you have a boil and want to avoid several others growing, you should remember that your skin, especially in the area around the boil, will be heavily contaminated with bacteria and must be washed thoroughly and often, preferably with a good antiseptic soap.

Boils are best covered with a waterproof dressing.
