Symptoms of Cancer of the cervix
Cervical cancer doesn’t always cause obvious symptoms, and may not cause any symptoms at all until it’s reached an advanced stage. This is why it is very important for women to have regular cervical smear tests.
If cervical cancer does cause symptoms, the most common is abnormal bleeding - for example - between periods, or after sexual intercourse.
Other symptoms can include smelly vaginal discharge, and discomfort when having sex.
