Symptoms of Cervical spondylosis

Symptoms may include:

  • chronic neck pain and stiffness (which may spread to the arms or shoulder),
  • increased risk of other injuries to the neck,
  • loss of sensation, numbness, weakness or clumsiness of the shoulders, arms, hands, fingers or legs,
  • intermittent shooting pain in the neck, arms, shoulders or upper back due to pressure on the nerve roots,
  • loss of balance,
  • double vision,
  • fatigue and irritability,
  • loss of control of the bladder,
  • disturbed sleep,
  • ringing in the ears,
  • headaches, particularly in the back of the head,
  • difficulty walking, and
  • fear of falling.
