Prevention of Dental abscess
Dental abscesses can almost always be prevented by normal routine care of the teeth. Brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and cleaning in between the teeth daily with floss or interdental brushes will remove the plaque that is the first stage in dental decay.
Regular visits to your dentist will ensure that any decay is caught early before the nerve is affected and a simple filling will be enough to prevent further problems.
