Treatment of Ectropion

Caught early, the symptoms of ectropion can be relieved and require no further treament.  Artificial tears and eye lubricants help to relieve dryness and irritation.

Surgery to tighten the lid may be necessary, especially if the condition has been left untreated for a long period of time.
