Diagnosis of Frozen shoulder

If you have pain or stiffness in your shoulder that makes normal movement difficult, you may have frozen shoulder. Your GP will be able to make a more accurate diagnosis by assessing your symptoms and watching how you move. Your GP may press on parts of your shoulder to see what might be causing the pain and to decide on the best course of treatment. Sometimes an X-ray of your shoulder may be necessary to look for other problems.
