Diagnosis of Hepatitis A

If you have been in contact with someone with hepatitis A or you have symptoms you should see your GP.

Hepatitis A can be diagnosed by a blood test that will show a positive reaction to antibodies (your body naturally makes antibodies to try and fight the hepatitis A virus).
