Causes of Hyperglycaemia
A change blood glucose levels causes hyperglycaemia. The following can cause this:
- emotional stress,
- change in medication,
- wrong (or missed dose) of insulin,
- less exercise than usual,
- change in eating habits, or
- illness such as cold or throat infection.
