Symptoms of Kyphosis

Kyphosis usually affects the upper part of the spine, causing a disfiguring rounded hump or sometimes a more sharply defined bulge. The latter is most commonly due to collapse of the bones or to a crush fracture of adjacent spinal bones (vertebrae) resulting from diseases such as osteoporosis, tuberculosis or cancer.
