Complications of Kyphosis

Severe congenital kyphosis may require surgical correction. Neglected kyphosis from osteoporosis may lead to serious height loss, significant changes in shape and sometimes disability. The chin may be permanently in contact with the breast bone, making it difficult to see to the front, and even affecting eating.
