Prevention of Listeriosis
All meats should be well cooked, especially poultry. Pregnant women should avoid all soft cheeses (e.g. Brie, Camembert, blue cheeses), any unpasteurised dairy product, pre-packed salads and undercooked meat.
Be careful to observe the "Use by" dates on bought food, and the recommended cooking and standing times for microwaved food.
