There are many symptoms of SLE. Rarely do two people have the same symptoms, the most common ones include:

Joint aches and pains, swollen joints,
Headaches, migraine or seizures,
A permanent red, butterfly-shaped rash on the nose and cheeks. The skin may have an increased sensitivity to sunlight, causing skin rashes,
Kidney problems,
Fatigue and weakness,
Mouth ulcers,
Hair loss,
Anxiety and depression,
Fevers and night sweats,
Inflammation of the membranes covering internal organs, with associated chest and abdominal pain and shortness of breath,
Anaemia, and
Neurological disorders, caused by inflammation of the brain.
