Treatment of Macular degeneration
Therapy using laser surgery of the eye to stem leaking choroidal blood vessels may be useful when the disease is diagnosed early and can prevent further loss of vision. The process may need to be repeated.
In most cases, however, macular degeneration is untreatable, but it does not lead to complete blindness.
