Molluscum contagiosum

Molluscum contagiosum is a harmless viral skin infection. It is characterised by groups of small, white, pearl-like lumps, 2-3mm in diameter, each with a central dimple on the surface of the skin.

It is not harmful but may cause cosmetic problems for some people.

Molluscum contagiosum usually clears up in a few months.
