Prevention of Molluscum contagiosum

You should avoid close physical contact with an infected person if possible.  Try not to share items that may pass on the infection, such as towels, face cloths and make-up sponges.  This is particularly important if you have recently recovered from the condition or if your immune system is weakened,as you will be more vulnerable to infection.

Although the condition can be quite itchy, try not to scratch the affected area as this can spread it to other parts of the body.
