Symptoms of Periods, painful
Symptoms include:
- Lower abdominal and/or pelvic pain, which may radiate to your lower back and down your thighs.
- These pains are described as cramps. These pains commonly begin as bleeding starts but may begin some hours before bleeding starts.
- Pain commonly lasts for between 8 and 24 hours (but may last for up to 72 hours).
- There may be associated symptoms of: headache, diarrhoea, tiredness, faintness and nausea.
