Definition of Preconception
Pre-conception care involves an assessment of lifestyle, health and fitness in order to identify areas for improvement. These can include an unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, daily stress and other factors such as smoking or drug use. A preconception programme provides the opportunity to get into the best of health before trying to conceive.
