Symptoms of Reiter's syndrome

  • Conjunctivitis causes a puffy, red, sore eye that discharges pus.
  • Urethritis causes a discharge from the urethra (often first noticed as staining on underpants) and a burning pain on passing water.
  • Arthritis often affects just one or only a few major joints such as the knee or ankle. The affected joints are swollen and are sore to use.
