Prevention of Rheumatoid arthritis

RA is not a disease that can be prevented at present. It seems that two things are required for it to develop – the right genes and some trigger in the environment that sets it off. What this trigger may be is not clear; it’s possible that it is one of several common infections. There is however growing evidence that early, aggressive treatment may prevent progression of the disease and prevent joint damage.
