Treatment of Sjogren's syndrome
There is no specific treatment to restore the glands to normal function. However, much may be done by the use of artificial tears, frequent sips of fluid or polyvinyl alcohol sprays in the mouth, careful dental hygiene, and the use of a water-based jelly for vaginal lubrication.
