Complications of Transient ischaemic attack

After a transient ischaemic attack there is an increased risk of further TIAs and full strokes, as well as coronary heart disease.

During a TIA, loss of vision, coordination or feeling can lead to injuries such as those caused by falls, depending on what the person was doing when the TIA occurred.
