Addison's disease داء اديسون

Addison’s disease is a disorder of the adrenal glands. Addisonâ € ™ ق المرض هو اضطراب في الغدد الكظريه لل. The adrenal glands are small, hat-shaped glands that sit on top of the kidneys, high up inside the back of the abdominal wall. فان الغدد الكظريه صغيرة ، على شكل قبعة الغدد ان الجلوس على اعلى الكلي ، وارتفاع حتى داخل الجزء الخلفي من جدار البطن.

The adrenal glands have two functions. فان الغده المحاذيه لها وظيفتان. The inner area, called the medulla, produces the hormone adrenaline, and passes it into the bloodstream. المنطقة الداخلية ، وتسمى النخاع ، تنتج هورمون ادرينالاين ، وتصاريح الدخول الى مجرى الدم. Adrenaline increases the action of the heart and speeds up metabolism, preparing the body for shock. ادرينالاين يزيد من عمل القلب ويسرع الايض ، واعداد الجسم للصدمة.

The outer layer, called the cortex, produces steroids. الخارجي طبقة تسمى اللحاء ، وتنتج المنشطات. One of the steroids it produces is cortisol, which increases the supply of glucose in the blood. واحدة من المنشطات وهو ينتج هو cortisol ، مما يزيد من العرض الغلوكوز في الدم. Along with adrenaline, cortisol acts to help the body cope with stress. جنبا الى جنب مع ادرينالاين ، cortisol ويعمل على مساعدة الجسم التعامل مع الاجهاد. Over-production of cortisol can be harmful to the immune system. الافراط في الانتاج من cortisol يمكن ان تكون ضاره لجهاز المناعه. Another steroid produced by the cortex is aldosterone. آخر الستيرويد التي تنتجها اللحاء هو aldosterone. Aldosterone helps to maintain blood pressure by keeping sodium (salt) levels up in the blood. Aldosterone يساعد على الحفاظ على ضغط الدم عن طريق الحفاظ على الصوديوم (الملح) مستويات في الدم. Finally, the adrenal cortex produces the male sex hormone testosterone. وأخيرا ، فإن قشرة الكظريه تنتج الذكور الجنس هرمون تستوستيرون.

In people with Addison’s disease, the adrenal cortex is destroyed, leading to a deficiency or absence of the hormones it produces. مع الناس في addisonâ € ™ ق المرض ، هو تدمير لحاء الغده الكظريه ، مما يؤدي الى نقص او عدم وجود من الهرمونات التي ينتجها.
