Cancer of the brain سرطان الدماغ

Brain cancers fall into two broad categories: سرطان الدماغ تقع في فئتين رئيسيتين :

• Primary brain tumours: where the cancer forms from brain cells اورام الدماغ الأولية : حيث من اشكال السرطان خلايا المخ
  
• Secondary brain tumours: where the cancer has spread to the brain from an existing tumour in another part of the body such as the lung, breast, prostate, colon or kidney. اورام الدماغ الثانويه : اذا كان السرطان قد انتشر الى المخ من وجود ورم في جزء اخر من الجسم مثل الرءه ، الثدي والبروستات والقولون أو الكلي.
  Secondary brain tumours are the most common kind of brain cancer. اورام الدماغ الثانويه هي من اكثر انواع سرطان الدماغ.

Brain cancers are given different names, depending on the part of the brain in which they develop: سرطان الدماغ وترد اسماء مختلفة ، ويتوقف ذلك على الجزء من المخ الذي وضع :

• Cancers that develop in the brain coverings (the meninges) are called meningioma. ان سرطان الدماغ في وضع الاغطيه (السحايا) يسمى meningioma.
• Those that develop in the neurological supportive tissue (the glial cells) are called glioma. تلك التي تضع في الانسجه العصبيه داعمة (خلايا glial) يسمى glioma.
• Those that develop in blood vessels are called haemangioma. تلك التي تضع في الاوعيه الدمويه يسمى haemangioma.
• Those that develop in bone are called osteoma. تلك التي تضع في العظام يسمى الورم العظمى.
• Those that develop in the pituitary gland are known as pituitary adenoma. تلك التي تضع في الغده النخاميه الغده هي الغده النخاميه المعروف باسم الورم الحميد.
• Some brain cancers are present at birth (craniopharyngioma, teratoma) and are due to abnormal development. بعض انواع السرطان في المخ عند الولادة (craniopharyngioma ، teratoma) وتعود الى وضع شاذ.
