Cancer of the oesophagus السرطان للمرء

The oesophagus is the medical name for the gullet. وقد مرء هو الاسم الطبي للالمريء. It is part of the digestive system. وهو جزء من الجهاز الهضمي. The oesphagus is a long tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach. وقد oesphagus هو انبوب طويل ان يحمل الطعام من الحلق إلى المعده. The top part of oesophagus lies behind the windpipe (trachea). أعلى جزء من مرء الكامن وراء القصبة الهواءيه (القصبة الهواءيه). The bottom part runs down through the chest between the spine and the heart. وتدير الجزء الأسفل من خلال اسفل الصدر بين العمود الفقري والقلب.

The body is made up of millions of different types of cells. الهيءه المؤلفة من الملايين من انواع مختلفة من الخلايا. Cancer happens when some of the cells multiply in an abnormal way, causing a growth called a tumour to form. السرطان يحدث عند بعض الخلايا في التكاثر بطريقة غير عادية ، مما تسبب في نمو الاورام ودعا إلى شكل من الاشكال. Tumours can be benign (not cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). يمكن ان تكون الاورام حميدة (غير سرطانيه او الخبيثه (السرطان). They can occur in any part of the body where the cells multiply abnormally. ويمكن ان تصيب اي جزء من الجسم حيث تتكاثر الخلايا بصورة غير عادية.

Cancer of the oesophagus is rare in the UK. للمرء السرطان امر نادر الحدوث في المملكه المتحدة. People over the age of 50 are most commonly affected. الاشخاص فوق سن 50 هي الاكثر تضررا. There are two main types of cancer of the oesophagus: هناك نوعان من السرطان للمرء :

• Cancer in the upper part of the oesophagus is called squamous cell carcinoma . السرطان في الجزء العلوي للمرء يسمى قشري خلية السرطان. It happens when cells on the inside lining of the oesophagus multiply abnormally. وعندما يحدث داخل الخلايا على بطانة للمرء تتضاعف بشكل غير طبيعي.
• Cancer in the lower part of the oesophagus is called adenocarcinoma of the oesophagus . السرطان في الجزء السفلي للمرء يسمى ادينوكارسينوما للمرء. It happens when cells inside the mucus glands that line the oesophagus multiply abnormally. وعندما يحدث داخل خلايا الغدد مخاط السطر مرء ان تتضاعف بشكل غير طبيعي. (Mucus glands produce a slimy substance to help food slide down the oesophagus more easily) (مخاط الغدد مخاطي انتاج المادة الغذاءيه للمساعدة على خفض الشريحه مرء بسهولة أكبر)
