Cancer of the stomach سرطان المعده

Stomach cancer (also known as gastric cancer) affects around almost 10,000 people per year in the UK, although the number of cases is decreasing. سرطان المعده (المعروف أيضا باسم سرطان الجهاز الهضمي) بنحو ما يقرب من 10000 شخص سنويا في المملكه المتحدة ، على الرغم من ان عدد الحالات اخذ في التناقص. The decline in the rate of stomach cancer is thought to be associated with improvements in diet. انخفاض في معدل سرطان المعده ويعتقد ان تترافق مع ادخال تحسينات على النظام الغذائي.

Stomach cancer affects more men than women. سرطان المعده يؤثر على الرجال اكثر من النساء. It is rare under the age of 40 and becomes more common with increasing age. ومن النادر تقل اعمارهم عن 40 عاما ، وتصبح اكثر شيوعا مع التقدم في السن.

Most types of stomach cancer develop in the cells of the stomach lining and can spread to the whole of the stomach as well as the liver, small intestine, pancreas and bowel. معظم انواع سرطان المعده في تطوير خلايا بطانة المعده ويمكن ان تنتشر الى كل من المعده وكذلك في الكبد ، والامعاء الصغيرة ، البنكرياس والامعاء. These types of stomach cancer are called adenocarcinomas and are the most common (95% (1)). هذه الانواع من سرطان المعده وتسمى adenocarcinomas هي الاكثر شيوعا (95 ٪ (1)).

There are other rarer types of stomach cancer such as soft tissue sarcoma that develops in the muscle layer of the stomach. وهناك غيرها من اندر انواع سرطان المعده مثل الانسجه الرخوه غرن ان يضع في طبقة من العضلات في المعده.

A MALT lymphoma is a rare type of stomach cancer that affects the lymphatic system (network of thin tubes that run throughout the body circulating fluids and fighting infection). أ شعير سرطان الغدد الليمفاويه هو نوع نادر من سرطان المعده ان يؤثر على النظام اللمفاوي (شبكة من الأنابيب التي تتنافى ورقيقة في انحاء مختلفة من الجسم السوائل وتعميم القتال العدوي).

The stomach can also be affected by a type of tumour known as a carcinoid tumour. المعده يمكن ان تتأثر أيضا نوع من الاورام والمعروفة باسم carcinoid الورم. This is a rare tumour that usually affects the appendix or the small intestine. وهذا الورم نادر يصيب عادة ان تذييل أو الامعاء الصغيرة.
