Diagnosis of Depression تشخيص الاكتئاب

If you think you have depression you should visit your GP. اذا كنت تعتقد انك يجب ان يكون مصابا بالاكتئاب زيارة طبيبك العمومي. Your GP may do a physical check and do some blood or urine tests to rule out other conditions. طبيبك العمومي لا يجوز تفتيش مادي والقيام ببعض التجارب في الدم او البول لاستبعاد اية شروط أخرى.

There are no clinical tests for depression so detailed interviews and questionnaires are used in the diagnosis. لا توجد التجارب السريريه للاكتئاب حتى مقابلات تفصيليه والاستبيانات المستخدمة في التشخيص.

There are many different questionnaires used to measure depression. وهناك العديد من الاستبيانات المختلفة المستخدمة لقياس الاكتئاب. However two classifications of mental illness are most widely used. بيد ان اثنين من التصنيفات للامراض النفسية هي الاكثر استعمالا. The first, developed by the American Psychiatric Association, is called the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV). الأولى ، التي وضعتها الرابطه الامريكية للطب النفسى ، ويسمى الدليل التشخيصي والاحصائي للاضطرابات العقليه (هحودلا قوس الرابع). The second, developed by the World Health Organisation, is called the International Classification of Diseases - Part 10 (ICD10). الثانية ، التي وضعتها منظمة الصحة العالمية ، ويسمى التصنيف الدولي للامراض -- الباب 10 (icd10).

Using one of these guidelines, it is usually possible for your GP to diagnose depression, decide which type of depression you are experiencing and to rule out another mental conditions. باستخدام واحدة من هذه المبادئ التوجيهيه ، وهي عادة ما تكون ممكنة لطبيبك العمومي لتشخيص الاكتئاب ، ان يقرر اي نوع من كنت تعاني من الاكتئاب واستبعاد آخر الشروط العقليه.
