Diverticular problems Diverticular المشاكل

The outer layer of the wall of the large intestine (colon) is weaker in some areas than in others. طبقة الخارجي للجدار كبير من الامعاء (القولون) هو الاضعف في بعض المناطق من غيرها. This allows small ‘pouches’ of the inner layers to be forced outwards through the outer layer. وهذا يتيح الصغيرة â € € ™ ~ pouchesâ للطبقات الداخلية ان تضطر الى الخارج عن طريق طبقة الخارجي. The pouches are called diverticula (a single pouch is called a diverticulum). فان الحقائب يسمى diverticula (الحقيبه واحد يسمى diverticulum). They vary in diameter from 3mm to 3cm. انها تتفاوت في قطر من 3mm الى 3cm.

Diverticula form because of pressure on the colon over time (particularly from constipation caused by not having enough fibre in your diet ) and as we get older. Diverticula بسبب شكل من اشكال الضغط على القولون بمرور الوقت (وخاصة من الامساك بسبب عدم وجود ما يكفي من الالياف في النظام الغذائي الخاص بك) ونحن في العمر.

About half of all people over 50 and most people over 90 have diverticula in their colons and in most cases they do not cause problems or symptoms. حوالى نصف جميع الاشخاص اكثر من 50 ومعظم الناس لها اكثر من 90 في diverticula الكولونات وفي معظم الحالات لا تسبب مشاكل او اعراض. Some people have fairly mild symptoms that come and go. بعض الناس بأعراض خفيفة الى حد ما ان تأتي وتذهب. If faeces gets trapped in a diverticulum, bacteria can grow around the blockage and cause infection and inflammation. اذا كان الغائط يحصل المحاصرين في diverticulum والبكتيريا يمكن ان تنمو حول سد وتتسبب في حدوث عدوى والتهاب. This is called diverticulitis and can be very serious. وهذا ما يسمى diverticulitis ويمكن ان تكون خطيرة جدا. One in 10 people with diverticula in their colon get diverticulitis at some point in their life. في واحدة مع 10 اشخاص في القولون diverticula الحصول على diverticulitis في مرحلة ما من حياتهم. Treatment for diverticulitis is usually with antibiotics and often in hospital. Diverticulitis العلاج للعادة مع والمضادات الحيويه في كثير من الاحيان في المستشفى.

A common complication of diverticulitis is peritonitis. مشترك من تعقيد diverticulitis هو التهاب البريتون. This is caused by infected and inflamed diverticula perforating or rupturing. ويعود ذلك الى المصابين والملتهبه diverticula تثقيب او التفجير.
