Endometriosis

The inner lining of the womb is called the endometrium. البطانه الداخلية للرحم يسمى بطانة الرحم. Endometriosis is a condition in which patches of endometrium occur in parts of your body other than your womb. Endometriosis هي شرط في بقع من بطانة الرحم التي تحدث في اجزاء اخرى من جسدك الخاصة بك الرحم. Often this is your pelvis or lower abdomen (tummy), but it can also occur: وهذا هو في كثير من الاحيان الخاص بك الحوض أو أسفل البطن (البطن) ، ولكنه يمكن ان يحدث ايضا :

  • In the Fallopian tubes Fallopian في الانابيب
  • On the ovaries على المبايض
  • Deep within the muscular wall of the womb itself العضلات العميق داخل جدار الرحم في حد ذاته
  • Scattered about the inside of the pelvis حوالي مشتته داخل الحوض.
  • Anywhere in the abdominal cavity في اي مكان في جوف البطن
  • On the lining of the nose علي بطانة الانف
  • In the lungs في الرئتين

  • Rarely, under the skin, forming patches ونادرا ما تحت الجلد ، وتكوين بقع

The most common symptom of endometriosis is pain or discomfort. الاكثر شيوعا هو endometriosis من اعراض الألم او عدم الراحة. Most women with endometriosis are diagnosed between the ages of 25 and 40. معظم النساء مع endometriosis يتم تشخيص الذين تتراوح اعمارهم بين 25 و 40.

During each menstrual cycle, your ovaries release an egg which travels down into your womb and implants itself in the endometrium.  The endometrium prepares itself for the egg by thickening up and increasing its blood supply. خلال كل دورة الطمث ، واطلاق سراح الخاص بك المبايض البيض الذي يسافر الى حسابك في اسفل الرحم ويزرع نفسه في بطانة الرحم. فإن بطانة الرحم تعد نفسها للبيض من قبل سماكه وزيادة امدادات الدم. These processes are controlled by the hormones that your body produces. وهذه العمليات التي تسيطر عليها الهورمونات التي تنتج جسدك. Hormones circulate in the blood and are carried to all parts of the body. تعميم الهرمونات في الدم ويتم نقله الى جميع أجزاء الجسم. This means that the endometrial tissue anywhere in your body will go through the same process of increasing blood supply, thickening and bleeding.  If the endometrial tissue is ‘trapped’ in other parts of your body, then this can lead to pain, swelling and bleeding wherever the tissue is. وهذا يعني ان endometrial الانسجه في اي مكان في جسدك سيذهب من خلال نفس عملية زيادة امدادات الدم ، والنزيف سماكه. Endometrial الانسجه واذا كان هو â € € ™ ~ trappedâ في اجزاء اخرى من الجسم ، فان ذلك يمكن ان يؤدي الى الألم ، نزيف وتورم الانسجه حيثما هو.

During pregnancy, or if the contraceptive pill is being taken, these hormones are not active and these endometrial changes do not occur. اثناء الحمل ، او اذا كانت وسائل منع الحمل هي حبوب منع الحمل التي يجري اتخاذها ، وهذه الهرمونات ليست نشطة وendometrial هذه التغييرات لا تحدث. This means the symptoms of endometriosis tend to get better at these times. وهذا يعني اعراض endometriosis تميل الى الحصول على نحو افضل في هذه الاوقات.

It is estimated that between 10 and 15 per cent of women complaining of gynaecological symptoms have endometriosis. ومن المقدر ان ما بين 10 و 15 فى المائة من النساء يشكون من اعراض امراض النساء قد endometriosis. It is difficult to estimate the number of women with endometriosis because many women have few symptoms. ومن الصعب تقدير عدد النساء مع endometriosis لان العديد من النساء قليلة الاعراض.
