Fibroids

Fibroids are benign (non-malignant) tumours of the womb. Fibroids هي حميدة (غير خبيث) من اورام الرحم. Fibroids are present in 20 per cent of women of reproductive age, but it is uncommon for them to be detected in women under 30. Fibroids موجودة في 20 في المائة من النساء في سن الانجاب ، الا انه من غير المألوف بالنسبة لهم ينبغي الكشف عنها في اطار النساء 30.

They are growths of smooth muscle and fibrous tissue, of widely varying size, but they may become very large. وهي من النمو السلس والعضلات والنسيج الليفي ، على نطاق واسع من احجام مختلفة ، ولكنها قد تصبح كبيرة جدا. They may lie just under the inner lining, or deep in the muscle wall, or near the outer surface. انهم قد يكمن فقط في اطار البطانه الداخلية ، أو بالغ في عضلة الجدار ، او بالقرب من السطح الخارجي. Occasionally they are almost free inside the womb and are attached by a narrow stalk. أحيانا وتكاد تكون خالية داخل الرحم والتي توليها ضيق القصبة. They are enclosed in fibrous capsules and do not spread to other parts of the body. وهي المغلقه الليفي في كبسولات ولا ينتشر الى أجزاء أخرى من الجسم. Often several occur together. وغالبا ما تحدث عدة معا.

In very rare cases, malignant (cancerous) growths on the smooth muscles inside the womb can develop, called leiomyosarcoma of the uterus. في حالات نادرة جدا ، الخبيثه (السرطان) على النمو السلس العضلات داخل الرحم يمكن ان تتطور ، ودعا leiomyosarcoma من الرحم.
