Legionnaire's disease الجندي داء

Legionnaires' Disease is a type of pneumonia or lung infection. Legionnaires 'المرض هو نوع من الالتهاب الرئوي او التهاب في الرئتين. It causes 2% of pneumonia cases that need hospital treatment. ومن اسباب الالتهاب الرئوى 2 ٪ من الحالات التي تحتاج إلى علاج في المستشفى.

The disease came to be known as Legionnaires’ disease, or legionellosis in 1976. المرض عرفت فيما بعد باسم لlegionnairesâ € ™ المرض ، او legionellosis فى عام 1976. Over 40 different strains of the Legionella germ have now been discovered. اكثر من 40 في سلالات مختلفة من البكتيريا الجرثوميه وقد تم الآن اكتشاف.

Outbreaks tend to occur in healthy people staying in hotels or other buildings in which the cooling systems or showers have become contaminated by Legionella germs. تفشي تميل الى أن يحدث في الأشخاص الأصحاء البقاء في الفنادق او غيرها من المباني التي في انظمة التبريد او حمامات اصبحت تلك البكتيريا من الجراثيم الملوثه. They may also occur as single cases in which the source of the germs is uncertain. كما انها قد تحدث في واحدة من الحالات التي الجراثيم من مصدر غير مؤكد. About three-quarters of all British cases occur as isolated instances rather than as epidemics. نحو ثلاثة ارباع جميع الحالات البريطانية تحدث حالات منعزلة بدلا من الاوبءه. In most of these cases the source of the germs is not found. وفي معظم هذه الحالات مصدر الجراثيم لا يوجد.

It usually affects middle-aged or elderly people and it more commonly affects smokers or people with other chest problems. وهو يصيب عادة في منتصف العمر او كبار السن وانه يؤثر على المدخنين اكثر شيوعا من الناس او مع غيرها من مشاكل في الصدر.

There is also a much milder, form of the disease caused by various Legionella germs, which does not involve the lungs. وهناك ايضا أخف بكثير ، شكل من أشكال المرض التي تسببها البكتيريا من الجراثيم المختلفة ، والتي لا تنطوي على الرئتين. This is a flu-like illness is known as Pontiac fever. هذه هى التى اصيبت بالمرض المشابه للانفلونزا يعرف باسم حمى بونتياك.
