Leptospirosis

The disease, Leptospirosis is caused by leptospira bacteria. المرض ، leptospirosis هو leptospira التي تسببها البكتريا. It is transmitted to humans by contact with the urine of rats, cattle, foxes, rodents and other wild animals, usually by contact with contaminated soil or water. ومن ينتقل للانسان عن طريق الاتصال مع البول من الفئران والأبقار والثعالب ، والقوارض وغيرها من الحيوانات البرية ، عادة عن طريق الاتصال مع التربة او المياه الملوثه. There are many different types of leptospira bacteria, each tends to be associated with a specific animal species. وهناك العديد من انواع مختلفة من البكتيريا leptospira ، كل تميل الى ان تكون مرتبطة مع انواع حيوانيه معينة.

The most common ones in the UK are Leptospira hardjo, which is found in cattle and Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae, which is associated with rats. الاكثر شيوعا منها في المملكه المتحدة هي leptospira hardjo ، وهي موجودة في الماشيه وleptospira icterohaemorrhagiae ، وهو أمر يرتبط الفئران.

The bacteria, enters the body via cuts to the skin, or via the nose, mouth or other mucous membranes.In most cases the infection causes a flu-like illness and severe headaches. البكتريا ، تدخل الجسم عن طريق اجراء تخفيضات على الجلد ، او عن طريق الانف والفم والاغشيه المخاطيه او غيرها من membranes.in معظم الحالات يتسبب فى الاصابة بمرض يشبه الانفلونزا وصداع شديد. The severe form of the disease (Weil’s disease) causes jaundice and liver damage and carries a reported death rate anywhere between 4 and 40 per cent. الشكل الحاد للمرض (ويل للمرض) اسباب اليرقان والكبد وتحمل الضرر عن معدل الوفيات في اي مكان ما بين 4 و 40 فى المائة. Only about 10 to 15 per cent of affected people suffer this more dangerous form. الا حوالي 10 الى 15 فى المائة من المصابين بالمرض اكثر خطورة ويعاني هذا الشكل.

Leptospirosis is rare in the UK, and Weil‘s disease extremely rare. Leptospirosis امر نادر الحدوث في المملكه المتحدة ، وويل للمرض نادر للغاية. Weil‘s Disease is however a very serious illness, and must be swiftly diagnosed and treated. ويل للمرض ولكن هو مرض خطير جدا ، ويجب ان يتم بسرعة تشخيصهم وعلاجهم.
