Symptoms of Meningitis اعراض التهاب السحايا

Symptoms may not be easy to identify as meningitis because initially, they can be similar to those of flu. الاعراض قد لا تكون سهلة لتحديد ما بسبب الالتهاب السحائى في البداية ، يمكن ان تكون مماثلة لتلك للانفلونزا. The symptoms below may appear in any order over 1-2 days or in a matter for hours and some of them may not appear at all. فيما يلى الاعراض قد تظهر في اي امر او اكثر من 1-2 ايام في مسالة لساعات وبعضها قد لا تظهر على الاطلاق. It is also possible that there may be additional symptoms. ومن الممكن ايضا انه قد يكون هناك اعراض اضافية.

In adults and older children; في البالغين والاطفال الاكبر سنا ؛

• high temperature, ارتفاع في درجة الحراره ،
• vomiting, القيء
• sometimes diarrhoea, وفي بعض الاحيان الاسهال ،
• severe headache, صداع شديد ،
• neck stiffness (unable to touch chin to chest), تصلب العنق (غير قادر على اتصال الذقن الى الصدر) ،
• aversion to bright light, النفور الضوء الساطع ،
• sore throat, الحلق
• drowsiness, النعاس ،
• joint or muscle pains, المشتركة او الام العضلات ،
• stomach cramps, تقلصات في المعده ،
• fits, تناسبها ،
• confusion, and بلبلة ، و
• disorientation. اورينتيشن.

In babies and infants; في الرضع والأطفال ؛

• high temperature, ارتفاع في درجة الحراره ،
• fever (possibly with cold hands and feet), حمى (ربما مع الباردة اليدين والقدمين) ،
• vomiting and refusing feeds, قيء ورفض الفيد ،
• high pitched moaning, عالية ضاريه الشكوى ،
• whimpering cry, النشيج البكاء ،
• blank staring expression, بياض التحديق التعبير ،
• pale blotchy complexion, تركيبة بالي ذو شامة ،
• floppiness, الخيبه ،
• dislike of being handled, تجري معالجتها من لا يروق لك ،
• fretful, fretful ،
• neck retraction with arching of back, الرقبه مع التقوس للتراجع الى الوراء ،
• convulsions, التشنجات ،
• difficult to wake, من الصعب بعد ،
• lethargic, and السبات العميق ، و
• tense or bulging fontanelle (soft spot on head). توتر او انتفاخ Fontanelle (الناعمة بقعة على الرأس).

Meningitis is very serious. التهاب السحايا خطيرة للغاية. In babies and young children, death can occur in a matter of hours if left untreated. في الرضع والاطفال الصغار ، يمكن ان تحدث الوفاه فى غضون ساعات اذا ما ترك بدون علاج. In some cases, the acute illness subsides into a persistent (chronic) state, which may lead to serious brain damage. وفي بعض الحالات ، وحده المرض ينحسر الى استمرار (المزمن) للدولة ، مما قد يؤدي الى اضرار دماغيه خطيرة. If you suspect meningitis you must seek urgent medical assistance. اذا كنت تظن انك والتهاب السحايا ويجب ان يسعى المساعدة الطبية العاجلة.

Sometimes, but not always, the bacteria that cause meningitis can cause septicaemia (blood poisoning). في بعض الاحيان ، لكن ليس دائما ، والبكتيريا التي تسبب التهاب السحايا يمكن ان تسبب septicaemia (تسمم الدم). This is a medical emergency needing urgent treatment with antibiotics. هذه حالة طبية طارئة تحتاج الى علاج عاجل مع المضادات الحيويه. A rash of purple-red spots can appear starting anywhere as a cluster of tiny blood spots, which join to give the appearance of fresh bruises. أ - طفح بيربل يمكن ان تظهر البقع الحمراء لتروي كما في اي مكان بدءا من مجموعة صغيرة من بقع الدم ، الذي انضم لاعطاء مظهر جديد كدمات. If you suspect meningitis you should not wait for the rash to appear. التهاب السحايا اذا كنت تظن انك لا ينبغي ان ننتظر لطفح للظهور.

The glass (tumbler) test can be used to determine if a rash might be septicaemia, by pressing the side of a clear drinking glass onto the rash or bruises and checking that they fade. الزجاجي (البهلوان) الاختبار يمكن ان تستخدم لتحديد ما اذا كان قد طفح septicaemia ، عبر الضغط على الجانب للشرب واضحة على الزجاج المتسرعه او كدمات والتحقق من ان يتلاشى. If they do not fade, you should suspect septicaemia. اذا كانوا لا تخبو ، يجب عليك ان المشتبه فيه septicaemia. In a small number of cases the rash may fade at first but may later change into one that does not fade. في عدد صغير من حالات الطفح قد يتلاشى في اول ايار / مايو ولكن في وقت لاحق ان تتحول الى واحدة لا تخبو.

Viral meningitis is a less severe illness but, very rarely, can progress from headache, fever and drowsiness, to deep coma. التهاب السحايا الفيروسي هو اقل شدة المرض ولكن في حالات نادرة ، يمكن ان تقدم من الصداع والحمى والخمول ، الى غيبوبه عميقة. In severe cases there may be weakness of the muscles, paralysis, speech disturbances, double vision or partial loss of the field of vision, and epileptic fits. في الحالات الشديدة قد يكون هناك ضعف العضلات ، والشلل ، اضطرابات الكلام ، ضعف الرءيه او فقدان جزئي للمجال الرءيه ، والمصاب بالصرع تناسبها. Most people make a full recovery within one to two weeks. معظم الناس ان الانتعاش الكامل في غضون اسبوع الى اسبوعين. Occasionally there maybe long term problems such as hearing or memory impairment. أحيانا قد يكون هناك مشاكل على المدى الطويل مثل سماع أو ضعف الذاكرة.
