Most people with schizophrenia are prescribed drugs, which seek to reduce the positive symptoms. معظم الناس مع مرض انفصام الشخصيه هي العقاقير الموصوفه ، والتي تسعى الى الحد من الاعراض الايجابية. The drugs used for schizophrenia are antipsychotics or neuroleptics (major tranquillizers). الادوية المستخدمة هي الأدوية المضاده لمرض انفصام الشخصيه او neuroleptics (المهدئات الكبرى).

The two major groups of antipsychotics are typical and atypical antipsychotics. الى الطائفتين الرئيسيتين من الادوية المضاده للنمطيه وغير نمطيه الادوية المضاده. Antipsychotic drugs can take between one and three months to take effect.  The typical antipsychotics are taken as tablets or syrup. ويمكن ان تتخذ antipsychotic المخدرات بين واحد وثلاثة أشهر ويسري مفعول. النمطيه كما تؤخذ الادوية المضاده للأقراص أو شراب. Some are available as longer-lasting 'depo' injections. بعض متاحة كما هو أطول أمدا 'Depo' الحقن.

Antipsychotics can have a range of side effects. الادوية المضاده يمكن ان يكون لها مجموعة من الاثار الجانبية. These can be unpleasent. ويمكن ان تكون هذه unpleasent. The most severe include muscle spasms, unusual body movements and acute movement disorders. وتشمل اشد تشنجات العضلات ، الهيءه تحركات غير عادية وحركة الاضطرابات الحادة. The side effects of atypical antipsychotics are milder than typical antipsychotics, but they are more expensive. الآثار الجانبية غير نمطيه من الادوية المضاده للهي اخف من الادوية المضاده للنموذجية ، ولكنها اكثر تكلفة.

Non-drug treatments المخدرات غير المعالجه

Talking therapies such as counselling and psychotherapy may be helpful for both people with schizophrenia and their families. العلاج الحديث مثل المشوره والعلاج النفسي قد تكون مفيدة للشعب مع كل من الفصام واسرهم. These talking treatments are mostly used alongside drug treatment for people with schizophrenia. الحديث هذه العلاجات تستخدم غالبا جنبا الى جنب مع العلاج من تعاطي المخدرات للاشخاص الذين يعانون من مرض انفصام الشخصيه. Support and self-help groups can also help.Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) has been used successfully for the symptoms of schizophrenia such as delusions or hallucinations. ودعم جماعات المساعدة الذاتية ويمكن ايضا العلاج السلوكي help.cognitive (cbt) استخدم بنجاح لأعراض الفصام مثل الاوهام او الهلوسه.

There is some evidence that alternative therapies including exercise, art/music therapy changing diet/nutrition, homeopathy and herbal remedies have been found helpful in people with schizophrenia. هناك بعض الادله على ان العلاجات البديله بما فيها ممارسة ، والفن / موسيقى العلاج تغيير النظام الغذائي والتغذيه ، المعالجه المثليه والاعشاب الطبية وقد وجد ان من المفيد في انفصام مع الناس.

Sometimes, people in an acute phase of the illness may need to be admitted to hospital under the Mental Health Act for assessment and/or treatment without consent. في بعض الاحيان ، والشعب في المرحلة الحادة للمرض قد تكون هناك حاجة الى الى المستشفى بموجب قانون الصحة العقليه لتقييم و / أو العلاج بدون موافقة.
