Abdominal and pelvic symptoms are normally first investigated with a physical examination, and then an X-ray or scan, such as a CT (computerised tomography) scan.腹部和盆腔的症状通常是首先调查与体检，然后X光或扫描，如1的CT （电脑断层摄影）扫描。 Sometimes these tests aren’t sufficient to make a diagnosis, and laparoscopy may be recommended to allow doctors to look directly at the organs within the abdomen and pelvis.
