Dilatation and curettage (D&C) Dilatation und Kürettage (D & C)
Dilatation and curettage (D&C) is a common gynaecological operation, usually performed under general anaesthetic. Dilatation und Kürettage (D & C) ist eine häufige gynäkologische Operation, die in der Regel unter Vollnarkose.
During D&C, the lining (endometrium) of the womb (uterus) is scraped out. In D & C, der Auskleidung (Endometrium) der Gebärmutter (Uterus) ist gekratzt.
