Giardiasis Giardiasi
Giardiasis is an infection of the intestines (gut) caused by a microscopic parasite called Giardia lamblia which lives in faeces (stools). Giardiasi è un'infezione di intestini (gut) causata da un parassita microscopico chiamato Giardia lamblia che vive nelle feci (feci).

Giardia is a major cause of childhood diarrhoea in developing countries and is common in Eastern Europe and across the USA.
