Prevention of Impetigo Prevenção de Impetigo

Impetigo is highly contagious. Impetigo é altamente contagiosa. Sensible hygiene precautions prevent the spread of bacteria and reduce the risk of other people catching it: Higiene precauções sensatas evitar a disseminação de bactérias e de reduzir o risco de outras pessoas captura-lo:

To prevent the impetigo returning, keep skin clean and ensure that any condition causing broken skin (eg eczema, nappy rash) is treated early.
