Sciatica Ciática

Sciatica is not a disease but a symptom. Ciática não é uma doença mas um sintoma. The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body, running from the spinal cord down through the buttock and the back of each leg to supply all the muscles of the lower limb. O nervo ciático é o maior nervo no corpo, correr a partir da medula espinhal para baixo através da nádega e na parte de trás de cada perna para abastecer todos os músculos do membro inferior. It also carries sensory information back from the leg to the cord, and via the cord to the brain.
